Tom Bolger has been worked as an illustrator, writer, creative director and retoucher in NYC since 1996. He attended the Florida School of the Arts, The Atlanta College of Art and the Art Students League. He left a career in advertising in 2013 in attempt to stop being part of the problem.

Bolger's  work deals mostly with the failure of traditional institutions, relationships and panaceas  to provide comfort or meaning  in an increasingly catastrophic consumerist society and in the face of seemingly overwhelming decay. Attempting to engage people in through the use of modern 'low' culture imagery (much of which has haunted him personally his entire life) as filtered through finely rendered allegorical set pieces to start a dialogue about finding meaning in the moment and in each other.

He is, consequently, a lot of fun at parties.

He lives in Miami, Florida and recently adopted a stray kitten who showed up on his front door, he named him Knucklehead.
